4 Grandparents

A group for grandparents who have their grandchildren living with them. Whatever their age, or whether you have an informal or formal care arrangement. Come along for a chat and a tea or coffee. Meet other people in similar situations. Share ideas and experiences – what worked for you and what didn’t work. Ask questions.

Parent Drop-In

Every morning at 08.30 – 09.00 we will be running a parent drop-in session in the dining room. There will be tea, coffee, biscuits and a member of staff on hand if you have any concerns about your child or their school life.

25 years at St. Nicholas Priory

St Nicholas Priory staff and pupils are sad to say good-bye to popular Teaching Assistant, Linda Reynolds who is retiring at the end of term after 25 years of working at the school. Staff held a surprise retirement party for Linda at the Kensington Hotel and presented her with gifts of flowers and travel vouchers.

Alert of the week – Monkey

This social networking app randomly connects users with people using Snapchat for a short live video chat, with the option of adding the person on Snapchat to continue the connection.  Before connecting, users can see the ‘alleged’ age and gender of the potential ‘friend’ and can choose to accept the video chat or not.  Be aware that there is no verification of age and the app
