Monday 27th November
Year 6 children went on an adventure to the Time and Tide Museum.
They got to take part in different workshops including learning about Fisher Girls and how to gut a fish, a talk about boat building, basket making and willow art, learning about local historical discoveries and an engineering workshop with Nexus where the children had to design and make a supply ship with its own helicopter platform. This was made out of spaghetti and marshmallows and had to support a toy helicopter. All of the children had a fantastic day and learnt a lot about how important the sea is to Great Yarmouth and the many secrets it still holds.
