St Nicholas Priory staff and pupils are sad to say good-bye to popular Teaching Assistant, Linda Reynolds who is retiring at the end of term after 25 years of working at the school. Staff held a surprise retirement party for Linda at the Kensington Hotel and presented her with gifts of flowers and travel vouchers. Pupils created ‘Thank you’ posters of their memories of Linda who was delighted to celebrate with her family, current colleagues and many other colleagues who have long since left the school but had the pleasure of working with Linda during her many years of dedicated service.
Speeches were given by current Headteacher and Acting Deputy Headteacher, Maria Grimmer and James Little respectively and former Headteacher, Mark Adams. All praised Linda for her tireless dedication and commitment to all the pupils she has worked with over the years and to school life in general. Staff, governors and pupils will miss Linda very much but wish her all the very best for her retirement.
